How to make compost: place a layer of animal manure about one to two inches thick, cover that with one to two inches of dry leaves or grass clippings. Continue this process until the pile is about three feet tall, you can support this by making a circle with chicken wire about three feet across.

Mickey Frame grew up growing plants. He has always put back into the soil by not raking the leaves or picking up grass clippings. Part of his knowledge comes from listening to his elders and part comes from life. He is also the author of God’s Stories for Life. Mickey currently lives in Floresville, Texas.
