Before he knew it, Christmas was less than one day away. But the weather forecaster said, "There's just no way! There's no way Santa’s reindeer can endure this extreme cold. It is frigid. They'll freeze. It's beyond their threshold." Thermometers broke. Pipes burst. Cars wouldn't start. The temperature was off of the weatherman's chart. "Oh, no!" worried Fozzie. "What if Santa can't fly? No gifts for children on Christmas? I can't just stand by!" His thick coat of long, fluffy hair was as good as knitwear. Fozzie knew he could weather the brutal polar air.

About the Book
Fozzie is an Old English Sheepdog with soft, fuzzy hair; bright, blue eyes; and a giant, black nose. He wants nothing more than to become part of the team pulling Santa's sleigh this Christmas. Fozzie's wish seems far-fetched until a brutally cold arctic air puts Santa's reindeer out of commission and forces the jolly old man in red to modify his method of transportation.

About the Author
Elizabeth Horvitz can be found either enjoying the Christmas season or looking forward to the next one. She and her husband have two daughters and an Old English Sheepdog. They live in Ohio and enjoy spending time in New Hampshire. This is her first book.
