Charley was a very tall, very strong, very kind, and very friendly camel. He loved to play soccer, go on hikes and swim, but more than anything, Charley loved helping everyone. He would happily balance Zanna the Zebra’s Xylophone between his humps when she had a recital, or act as a hurdle for Ryan the Roadrunner during gym class.

Because he was so strong and kind hearted, Charley’s friends were always asking him to carry their books and supplies to school for them. “Of course,” Charley always said with a smile, “I would be happy to help you!”

About the Book
Charley is a camel with a heart of gold. He loves balancing Zanna the Zebra’s xylophone on his back when she has a recital, acting as a hurdle for Robby the Roadrunner during gym class, and carrying books for Poppy the Porcupine. Because he is so strong and kindhearted, Charley’s friends always look to him for help. Charley doesn’t mind. He just wants to fit in with others.
