About the Book

One day after her owners open their garage door, Clarabelle, a feisty, sneaky Scottie dog, pushes through their legs, bolts across the driveway, and disappears into the horizon. She is gone!

Clarabelle, who has a mind of her own and does what she wants all the time, loves the dangerous feel of her newfound adventure as her owners make every attempt to wrangle her back into the yard. But before long, they grow tired of Clarabelle’s antics and decide to make dinner. But just as Clarabelle slowly approaches the porch and her owners think they have finally caught her, she teaches them once again that a Scottie is happiest when she is causing mischief.
