Chuba Chubba Choo & the Great Rabbit Rescue

— By the time he got to the river Chuba Chubba was very tired. But he did not stop to rest. Jill Rabbit Bunny’s life depended on him. Somehow he had to help his friend. How could he carry water? He looked all around. There was an empty plastic milk jug stuck in a mesquite tree along the river bank. In an instant Chuba Chubba slithered around the small tree, shot up the trunk and raced out on a limb with such speed that he knocked the jug loose. He hooked the handle with his tail. But it slipped free and splashed as it hit the water below. The jug began to float away in the current. Chuba Chubba did not hesitate. He bravely dived right in after it. He did a swan dive. OK, not exactly a swan dive. Chuba Chubba had no arms to stretch out or toes to point, but almost a swan dive. And it was a very good dive indeed. He dived in deep and when he came up for air he was right next to the jug. He pushed and pushed until it was close to the shore. But the cap was on and the jug was empty. And snakes can’t unscrew lids and how was he going to get water for Jill Rabbit Bunny? Chuba Chubba thought and thought until he had an idea like Albert Einstein. OK, not exactly like Einstein. It wasn’t as lengthy a thought and it didn’t need arithmetic, but almost like Einstein. And it was a very good thought indeed. Without hesitation he bit a hole in the jug and water, precious water, began to fill it up.
