Agni sleeps on the clouds. She rolls up one or two clouds into a fluffy pillow. Then she takes the layers of clouds and shakes them up and down til the layers are straightened out to form a bed. Sometimes, after making the bed, she jumps up and down and breaks the bed apart. Yes, you are right, she has to create a new bed.
Agni loves to play. She loves doing somersaults, flips and areils. Agni can do all sorts of stunts from wolf jumps to sheep jumps. She does cart wheels from one cloud to another cloud.
Agni loves to play on the moonbows. She loves to slide down rainbows. She loves to play with the spectrum of colors. She likes to mix colors and create new colors. She tries to grab a little bit of red and mix it with blue to make violet. She loves to take the strand of red from the rainbow and put it over the yellow to make orange. Her favorite thing to due is to lick the blue strand of the rainbow. Then she likes to lick the yellow stand to turn her tongue into green.

About the Book
Jasmine is excited to go to the State Fair. So, is the rest of her family, including Mom, Dad, and her little brother, Om. They arrive and get ready to have tons of fun. All around them are games, rides, animals and friends.
Jasmine, her little brother, Om, mother and father are having a great day. They sit down to have a family picnic. Om reaches for some chocolate-covered peanuts.
Jasmine realizes something is wrong. Om looks sick and starts to have trouble breathing. Jasmine’s father calls for an ambulance. Jasmine is scared for her brother. She prays.
Agni arrives. Agni is the Superhero of Health. Using her special powers, Agni is able to cure Om from a dangerous food allergy.
Inspired by an experience with a pediatric patient in her Urgent Care Clinic, Dr. Madhavi Reddy wrote Agni to educate children and their parents about allergic reactions and how to manage this specific situation. Dr. Reddy hopes to relieve fears children may have regarding doctors, injections, and ambulances.
About the Author
Madhavi Reddy, M.D., is a family physician in North Carolina. As a child, she loved watching Wonder Woman, and she hopes the character of Agni will inspire young children just as Wonder Woman inspired her. When not in the clinic, Dr. Reddy loves to travel the world—just like Agni. She hopes to create a series of stories about Agni (The Healthcare Superhero) exploring health, travel and interpersonal relationships.
