I'll Bring the Lasagna

About the Book

The family’s getting together on Saturday, and JoAnn is bringing the lasagna! First, she decides to make extra, since Anna has always loved it. But what’s lasagna without meatballs? Everyone loves meatballs. And then there are the sausages and braciole and eggplant. Hooray for a big Italian dinner with the family! Now we are all thankful for our friends and family; they know what we love the most and take the time to make the day special for everyone.

In this children’s story, authors Anna Gagnon and Tara Dickey recall their real-life experiences to create a fun, loving portrait showing how family can go above and beyond for those they love. As children they remember a kitchen filled with Italian music and the delicious smells of a gravy on the stove. Today, they are thankful for JoAnn continuing the tradition for their six children.

Tara Cavallaro Dickey is a busy wife and mother to two who has dedicated more than fifteen years to working at the American Cancer Society. She enjoys planning events and family trips and spending time with her children in the beautiful lakes area in New Hampshire.

Anna Cavallaro Gagnon is a busy wife, mother of four, and former educator. She dedicates her days to running the family household and managing their family business. She loves spending time with her children in the Green Mountains of Vermont.
