About the Book

It’s time for bed, and Dexter and his mom are following their bedtime routine. Dexter loves this special moment with his mom as he snuggles in the crook of her arm to listen to her read stories. Of course, to delay the inevitable sleep, he chooses the four longest books in his library.

But mom doesn’t read the words on the page. She tells her son a story of Dr. Dexter Scott, a world-famous paleontologist who has discovered many great dinosaur fossils and is on his way to unearthing a new dinosaur. The doctor won many awards, but most of all, he followed his dreams and is happy doing what he loves.

A picture book for children, Dexter’s Dreams shows kids they have the ability to be great and to do anything and everything they dream.

About the Author

Michelle Escoto lives in Colorado with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. This book is inspired by her son’s story time and bedtime routine.
