About the Book

Based on Real Life Story As a divorced single mother, author Sarah Attley learned to survive through many challenges in her life. She was raising two boys while working full-time and attending a college an hour away to earn a business administration degree. Attley was a busy mom who just wanted to give her kids a good life.

Life suddenly changed when she ran into Scott, a good friend from her past. The two reconnected, fell in love, got married, and were expecting a baby girl. Life was good, and her longtime dream was becoming a reality. But then Scott died unexpectedly, and Attley found herself single again. In The Widow Next Door, she shares her story--of her life with and love for Scott, the grief of his death, strained family relationships, and how she deals with her husband’s absence and the life they could have had.
