We return home without speaking much else to each other outside of basic or mandatory pleasantries. We bumped shoulders once during the flight home and politely exchanged barely audible apologies. He returns home with what he went to that awful island resort to get, a wife with a memory. But he is no better for having it. He suffers in vain. I remember, but only for now. About the Author
Mary Johnson worked in aviation corporate operations, public relations, and municipal government. Today, she finds that storytelling is at the heart of her happiness. The Louisiana native now lives in Atlanta, Georgia. This is her first collection of short stories.
