A nice woman called out to me to come see her and she was telling me I was “beautiful”. She sat on the floor and we spent about two hours together. She held me, and kissed me, and I looked into her eyes and reached up to touch her face. When I did this, she called me a “love bug”. I felt a spark inside, got excited, and started to purr. I knew that she was going to be my mom! I was so excited to go home with her and meet my new brother Grayson and sister Alli. My mom said I was “going to love it!” I finally had a fur-ever home!

About the Book
Brody was a cute, fun and energetic white and brown tabby, who had a terminal medical condition. His family adopted him even though he looked different from other cats and some considered him ugly. Brody was given a chance at life, loved deeply by his family and lived life to the fullest. Brody's Fur-Ever home will touch the hearts of those who have lost a pet and want to connect to their grief in order to heal.
About the Author
Lori J. Cooper was inspired to share her family's story about losing their beloved pet when he was taken from them shortly after his adoption. She attempts to connect to her audience through shared grief, unconditional love, acceptance and letting go. Lori studied psychology in Phoenix, Arizona, and teaches full time at the collegiate level. Her passion and inspiration include research, writing and advocating for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
