Sally is a little hawk. Most hawks spend their days in tall trees, and they fly high in the sky. But when it’s time for Sally’s first flying lesson, she discovers she’s afraid of heights. Sally knows she must find a way to overcome her fear.

Determined to fly high like other hawks, Sally spends most of her days down in the woods flying low to the ground until an accident changes everything. What makes the hawk cast her fear aside?

About the Author

Greg Stelzer spent his youth in Central and South America with his family. After graduating from the University of Maryland and serving in the US Air Force, he joined the corporate world. He eventually became a stay-at-home husband and father. Now retired, Stelzer lives with his wife in San Diego. When not volunteering at a homeless shelter or working as an advocate for the National Meningitis Association, he spends his time writing.
