About the Author
A native of Springfield, Massachusetts, june allard-berté is one of the country’s leading portraitists. As a young woman, June began her artistic career as a fashion illustrator for major New York department stores and magazines. The enduring encouragement and inspiration from friends and family eventually turned her focus toward drawings and paintings of children and animals.
