“Hi! My name is Buddy, and I am five years old. In dog years, I am all grown up, but in reality, I am just like any other little boy except, of course, I am a dog. People like to call me a wiener dog, but I am really called a dachshund.
“As far as dogs go, I am not very tall. I have very, very short legs and a really, really long body! I know I am cute and funny, and my mom says I am very handsome. I live in a very sunny place called Florida with my human mom and dad. I love them very much and I know they love me.

Buddy the dachshund lives in a not-so-mythical place called Florida- a place where the sun always shines and everyone is always happy. Buddy, being a typical dachshund is a determined, funny, happy little guy who loves to explore. Every day brings a chance to meet new, exotic friends and see wonderful new places.

About the Author
JC Colarusso’s love of animals began during her childhood on a farm outside of Ituna, Saskatchewan, Canada. After many years in the corporate world, she now combines her two passions, writing and animal rescue. She currently lives with her husband in South Florida.
