About the Author
Cindy Pilsbury-Benson, is the Director of Pilsbury School located in Upper Montclair N.J. Founded by her mother, Cary, in 1970. Cindy is grateful for the opportunity the school has offered her to teach and nurture young minds in a professional yet loving environment for more than 25 years.
By combining her passion for children’s literature with her love for nature, Cindy along with the artistic talent of her niece and illustrator Shea Pilsbury, have co-created a very unique children’s book. A book that sparks an awareness and appreciation for nature and all creation.
Cindy lives in Cedar Grove, N.J. with her husband John and four sons; Jonathan, Jack, Shane and Blaize. Their family enjoys being out in nature and hiking the beautiful and serene Lenape trails near their home with their rescue pup, Summer.
