Author Jim Blickenstaff is a mailman who had long since given up on getting another dog, feeling that the end of their short life was just too painful for him to bear again. About the Author
Jim Blickenstaff served in the US Navy in the late sixties and has been a USPS mailman since 1977. He is active in both politics and the environment, having served on his local city council and as a leader in the Sierra Club. He is the author of Flight of Fantasy, a children’s book. He currently lives in San Ramon, California.
