About the Book
Oh, Maudy is having quite a time. In fact, she’s being quite naughty. Her mother and teacher try to help her, but nothing seems to help. And all her friends don’t want to be around her anymore. Oh, Maudy, what’s wrong with you?
Author Kathryn D. Weis answers that question in her rhyming book, Maudy Is Naughty. Children will enjoy reading about poor Maudy who is acting differently than usual. No one can figure out why, until Maudy lets out a huge sneeze, and then she’s back to her happy self.
Find out what that sneeze had to do with Maudy’s mood and behavior. Maudy Is Naughty is perfect for younger readers. Those who haven’t yet learned to read will be enthusiastic listeners as it’s read to them.
