Or maybe they’re faking death so they can be shipped out of here.” Five minutes into her conversation with Bertie, she fell asleep! Aunt Bertha nudged her niece awake with a wooden walking cane. “You fell asleep while I was talking to you,” her aunt exclaimed, disapproval in her voice. “Perhaps you need to go wash up and wake up!” Miss Snoots apologized, stating that she was tired from the long journey.
