About the Book

There’s a small box made of linen and lace, holding a place on the shelf. It’s not for keeping physical things like toys or paper or buttons or bows. But instead, it contains the memories, the dreams, and the lore of days and seasons and years well lived.

The Wee Box, a picture book for children, offers a rhyming poem that shares the importance of making and keeping memories. It tells a story about saving and appreciating the moments that make up the best parts of life.

About the Author

Brian C. Shilling is a forty-nine-year-old beachcomber who lives in Southwest Florida near the Gulf of Mexico. He enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephew, watching them grow and mature.
