Dear Friends,
We may be in the most peaceful place in the world, but if we do not have inner peace we will not feel peaceful. And yet we could find ourselves in the midst of turmoil and strife and if we do have inner peace we can feel peaceful.
It all begins with us. By taking just a few quiet minutes each day and meditating on peace, we can become peaceful. And once we are peaceful, that feeling will expand out into the universe, touching those around us.
The words that we speak, read and think are very powerful! TIME FOR PEACE, Peace in Our Hearts, Peace in the World is filled with powerful, stimulating, inspirational words. Imagine many thousands of people reading the same page, the same message each day and the lasting effect that it would have on each individual as well as the people with whom they come in contact.
When enough people participate in taking just a few moments a day to meditate for peace, in time there will be peace in this world...forever. We actually do have the power to make that happen. This might sound like a grandiose, over-enthusiastic, exaggerated claim but I truly believe this book was channeled through me and I am deeply grateful and humbled to share it with you.
Time for Peace is filled with inspirational thoughts and quotes. Each page represents one day. Spend a few minutes each day being with the thoughts on just one page.
Think about them. Sit quietly with them. Meditate on them.
Let the feelings of the words fill you with peace and strength and then carry
that feeling with you for the rest of your day, sharing it with others as you move through the hours.
As you read these daily pages, watch your life change. Know that you are connected with countless like-minded people reading the same page each day and feel how powerful this is.
Know that you can discover one thing that can change your life and affect the lives of those around you each day. It does not have to be big or great. Just one thing to make your life more peaceful. Just one thing. One small thing.
Know that you can make a difference.
Know that you do make a difference.
Know that you are making a difference.
Thank you for joining me and all the others who are passing on the power of thought, prayer and meditation so that the horrors of war can cease and there can be peace for all human beings!
It is Time for Peace in Our Hearts, Peace in the World

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
~Celtic Blessing
Peace is everywhere. Peace is in the waves and the flowing air, the quiet earth and the shining stars. Peace is in church and in temple and in the mosque and the synagogue. Peace is in the forest and the hills and the desert.
But when we are full of fear or anger, frustration or stress, how can we find it? How can we achieve this deep peace when life isn’t going our way; when a loved one dies, or our business fails, when our spouse wants a divorce or our child is caught in drug addiction?
How can we feel this peace that poets and mystics talk and write about so eloquently and invitingly? And how can we possibly pass it on to others? No matter what is going on in the outside world, we can look deep into our own hearts. Peace is always there. This precious, mysterious, mystical God-given gift lies within us always waiting to be found. It is as close as this moment, this instant, this breath. Peace is right here for us to feel and nurture and share with the rest of world.
I am so grateful to know that no matter what is going on in my life today,
I can always find peace in my heart. And once found,
it is my privilege and joy to share it with others.

“Greater in combat than the person who conquers a thousand times a
thousand people is the person who conquers himself.”
~The Buddha
If we can't stop the battles in our minds, how can we expect to stop the battles in the world? We need to begin with ourselves and first understand our own personal conflicts.
Are we at war with our food, weight, drugs or alcohol? Do we spend more than we can afford? Are we going back and forth between should I or shouldn't I? Do we struggle with fear versus faith, selfishness versus generosity and so forth? It is helpful to observe whatever it is with which we struggle. This is no different than the struggle between two people, two families, two comm- unities or two nations. As we become willing to resolve our own inner struggles, outside issues often resolve themselves. Each time we are willing to look at our own issues, we come to a greater understanding of the conflicts others have.
We can begin to learn to stop our own wars before attempting to solve the wars of the world.
Today I am willing to watch my own inner battlefield with
compassion, praying for the understanding and resolution
of the conflict so I can find peace.
