About the Book

No two people’s lives are exactly the same. Similarities may occur, but nothing is identical. Instead, lives are created, discovered, and experienced differently, albeit with common features and encounters.

Discovering Life … seeks to explore those differences and commonalities. Written in first, second, and third person, these poems open doors to the realities of romance, sensuality, lust, survival, and many of life’s challenges. They work from a variety of perspectives, offering insight, humor, passion, determination, and curiosity and consider open views of life’s lessons and tests. Kiminique Williams is the author behind last year’s Chosen to be Different and Exoticasy. Discovering Life … is her newest lyrical treat guaranteed to feed that sweet-tooth. Kiminique is a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana where she spends most of her time with family. Away from the family, she ventures to her best friends--pen and paper, as a method to release and relax. As old fashioned as many believe they are, Pen and Paper, are definitely a great part of life for this author.
