About the Book
Alex is a little boy who refuses to eat vegetables. No matter how hard she tries, his grandma cannot convince him to take just one bite.
To help Alex learn healthy eating habits, his grandmother tells him the story of Vincent, a tiny vampire who gobbles all his vegetables, no matter whether they are soft or crunchy or green or yellow. When Vincent shows up for lunch one day, he helps Alex discover that vegetables are not nearly as bad as he thinks!

About the Author
Nancy Herrera is a former educator who taught for thirty-three years, following a stint with the Peace Corps. Now retired, she is doing the job she loves best—spending time with her two grandsons, Alex and Nathan, who inspire her stories. Herrera currently resides in Rochester, New York. Vincent the Vegetable Vampire is her first book.
