Bandit climbed into the basket so that he could reach the goodies and while he was inside enjoying his snack he heard some footsteps and voices coming toward him. A minute later he felt the basket lift into the air and heard a car engine crank. “Oh no, the couple must have come back from their hike!” Bandit thought, but it was too late.

About the Book
Bandit is a raccoon who lives in a hollowed out oak tree way back in the woods with his brother, Buckwheat and his sister, Muffin. One afternoon while they are out playing, they happen upon a picnic basket in their favorite meadow. Being the curious raccoon that he is, Bandit can’t resist seeing what might be inside...but he’d better be careful; curiosity can lead you to the most surprising places!
