Nile: I’m ready Buddie. Let’s go.
Lil Buddie: Ahhhh….........Awwwww……….I’m not ready.
Nile: Why not?
Lil Buddie: You’re not ready either.
Nile: Yes, I am.
Lil Buddie: You can’t go on a playdate with all of your friends.
Nile: No Buddie, I’m going to meet my friends at Sam’s house. They’re not coming here.
Lil Buddie: Yes, they are. They are already here.
Nile: Where?
Lil Buddie: In your nose……You got some little friends in your nose. There’s your lil friend Mr Drainage ……running down your nose, bumping onto your lips, drizzling down your chin. I can see all of your other lil friends joining in the fun….Mr Shredded Coconuts in your nostrils, Miss Mini Cotton Balls in the corner of your eyes, and Grandpa Raisins in your ears…..
Nile: Whaaaaaaat!!!!! IN MY NOSE!!!!!
Lil Buddie: Yep! You got some little friends in between your toes too…..your little friends Rice and Peas.
Nile: More???
Lil Buddie: Uh hum… You got your little friend Miss Fried Rice in between your toes and Mr Dirt under your nails. You can’t go over to your friend’s house like that. You need to clean up and wash your Lil Yuk, Yuk, self. You can’t go to anyone’s house like that, Nile!

Ariana Iris is an American-born author originally from Charleston, South Carolina. She earned a degree in psychology from Winthrop University. She realized her love for writing at a very young age. Her creative imagination transforms and evolves through her books. She lives near Boston, Massachusetts, with her husband and two sons—and Lil Buddie.
