About the Book

Four sea animals—Don the dolphin, Ted the sea turtle, Bob the barracuda, and October the octupus—are alone and afraid in the deep, blue sea. But one by one, they meet each other and become fast friends. They face their personal physical disabilities together and form a special bond. They learn about how they are all very different but have many things in common.

Adventures of My Friends and Me: A Day of Life in the Sea shares a story of four creatures living together in a coral reef, taking care of one another, and making a home with each other. It demonstrates how the dolphin, turtle, barracuda, and octopus show compassion to all sea life while overcoming their own physical limitations. They’ll live an amazing life with many adventures in the sea.

About the Author

Christy Gayle has always had a fascination with and love of the ocean. A scuba diver, she’s witnessed a variety of sea life firsthand. She currently lives in Reidsville, North Carolina.
