There once was a girl who loved to Flip. Her name was Flippity Flip Girl. All she ever did was flip. She flipped in the morning, she flipped at night. She flipped all day!She flipped out of bed,she flipped to the bathroom to brush her teeth, she flipped down the stairs and into the kitchen to eat her breakfast!Anytime her mommy and daddy asked her to do something, she flipped along the way. She
drove her parents, brothers, and sister crazy! They said to her, "All you ever do is flip!"Flippity Flip Girl was so happy! She was confident and strong. She knew she was good at flipping and she was so happy doing what she loved! ... Meanwile, a few blocks away, living in a different house, there was a girl who loved to skip. Her name was Skippity Skip Girl. All she ever did was skip. She skipped in the morning, she skipped at night. She skipped all day!
She skipped out of bed,
she skipped to the bathroom to brush her teeth,

One day, their mommies decided to take them to

the park, and they were all there at the same time!

They were each enjoying their special talents, flipping and climbing and twirling and skipping all day long! They met each other and were so excited to show the other what they could do. "Let me show you how I can flip." "Let me show you how I can climb." "Let me show you how I can twirl." "Let me show you how I can skip." They flipped and climbed and twirled and skipped. ... On the walk home, Flippity Flip Girl looked sad. When her mommy asked her why, she said, "I will never be able to climb like Climbity Climb Girl or skip like Skippity Skip Girl or twirl like Twirlity Twirl Girl. Climbing, Twirling, and skipping are more fun than flipping." ... For days and days and days all across town, there was no flipping no climbing no skipping np twirling. The girls had forgotten who they were and what they were good at. Most of all, they had forgotten what made them happy. ... The next week, as promised, all the mommies took the girls back to the park. All of the girls were there but no one was flipping or climbing or twirling or skipping. "I don't want to be at the park today." Flippity Flip Girl said.
"Your friends are here. Go play! You 'll have fun!"
Flippity Flip Girl slowly walked over to the swings. No one said anything. They just sat on the swings and looked sadly at the ground.
Just then, the girls heard a cat meowing. "Is that a cat?" asked Flippity Flip Girl. "It sounds scared." Twirlity Twirl Girl said. "Where is it?" Climbity Climb Girl asked. Meeeooowww!!!
Flippity Flip Girl looked around and pointed to a tall tree at the edge of the park. "Look!" she shouted.
