It was all a dream, I think in my Biggie voice. Of course it was. I don’t even have a boyfriend. Wait a minute. I don’t even have a booty-call person, let alone one to have a conversation with. This is a sad scene; I haven’t been on a date in a year. Eh, I guess it’s my fault. I’ve been telling Facebook I’m emotionally unstable for the longest time. Will I ever be ready? Is anybody ever really ready?
My last boyfriend flatlined. No, he didn’t die, but it feels that way. After he broke up with me—to pursue a better life, apparently—I never heard from him again. Flatlined. Hopefully moving to Atlanta turns out to be the best decision for me.
