About the Book
Combining two deeply held passions, Verses and Views intertwines author Cassandra Francis’s love of writing and of photography. She presents a collection of her original poetry and pictures taken during her travels and during everyday life. Through verses that flow and paint vivid pictures, she offers her perspective on the world and her place in it.

Struggling to be, in a society that wants this and that.
Why don’t you do this?
Why don’t you be this?
Why is it decisions are being made for me not by me?
Don’t I know what I can do?
Don’t you think I can do it?
Just think maybe, I’m the right one to make my own decisions!
Stop making decisions for me!
About the Author
Cassandra Francis first experienced writing poetry in an advance practice English class in high school. She published her first poem in her high school’s literary magazine, and it was then she realized she had something to share. She has gone on to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing, but she continues to write. She currently lives in Bronx, New York.
