Two hours ago he'd determined to retire tired. Tomorrow he had to take the stand and testify. Yet, the current conversation continued, seemingly ceaseless it was. Words spoken were passed over both parties-unheard. Time and time again the frequent reiterations really got on his nerves. Thus, she then heard, "Love, I believe you don't have to bind love just because you find love. Love, you needn't worry yourself over such trifling matters. If your love to me was true, it would be free—without bondage. God loves us, freely allowing us to be as we are and return or not return a portion of that love. How does my behavior and intercourse with other women define or measure the magnitude of emotions which I have towards you? It doesn't. When I am with you, I am with you, nothing coming in between. However, when I am with someone else, how is it that you believe my affections towards you are without import? That's faulty, elementary reasoning. Jealousy is childish, envy—infantile; and I had hoped to have something much more mature with you. Are you emotionally an adult or an adolescent? For, my show is for mature audiences only."
