About the Book

The Cherokee language is one that uses not only spoken words, but also written symbols. This book aids in teaching how to read and speak the language. By combining both aspects, kids can have a better chance of learning the language in its entirety even from a silly story about what farm animals do.

About the Author

Michelle grew up learning and proud of her Cherokee heritage. When she had kids of her own, she wanted them to know the beauty of the language. She started writing her own, original children's books to be read in Tsalagi (Cherokee) so her kids could learn to love the language as much as she did. Through her passion of writing and teaching; she came up with a series of children's books to read in both English and Tsalagi; even the Cherokee Syllabary!
