‘Hoodwinked’ is written for the sole purpose of enlightening the reader about how easy it is to be deceived when a person, a group or a government makes the decision to lie, to alter, or to provide a false narrative to gain the advantage for a desired purpose. Specifically, to change the way you think about something or someone without knowing your thinking changed. “Hoodwinked” means; to deceive or trick, to cover; or to provide a false report to gain the advantage for a desired goal.
The word is also textbook Donald J. Trump, who rose to political prominence promoting the extreme conspiracy propaganda of the racist political group known as the Birthers. Birthers are Caucasian Americans who are devout believers in the doctrine of white supremacy, and the members of this racist group agree that all American political power, all American economic power, and all American military power is their inherent right to control.
Trump learned racism from his father Fred Trump Sr., a member of the Ku Klux Klan, who also taught other family members to live by the doctrine of white supremacy. In fact, Trump’s racist, bigoted, and sexist view of the world were all taught by his father as decisive character traits in building his financial dynasty.
Throughout his career-including as President of the United States-Trump has also relied on an adept talent of using propaganda as his signature method of deception to gain the advantage for this purpose. Equally, Donald Trump and his father Fred Trump Sr. shared a ritualistic passion for the one called the architect of propaganda, their hero, their leader, and their god: Adolf Hitler.
In his 1925 book Mein Kampf (“My Struggle”), Adolf Hitler devoted three chapters to the study and practice of propaganda. After studying Mein Kampf Donald Trump was confident his desired goals were achievable using propaganda as his method of deception. Accordingly, Trump’s scheme was to use the distribution power of the free press to achieve his desired goals. With that in mind, Donald Trump mastered the art of lying, avoidance, and using false accusations to achieve his desired goal.
Actually, Donald Trump says he loves deceiving people because, “It’s like taking candy from a baby!” Masterfully, lairs play on the naivety of their audience because they know most people are lazy minded. Similarly, Donald Trump understands that Americans are generally apathetic people who lack interest; they are generally indifferent or unresponsive, and his mentor Adolf Hitler calls this state of mind a propagandist’s golden opportunity. Similarly, in the book Mein Kampf, one of the key principles Adolf Hitler taught was to look for and recognize the apathy of your target audience.
For those reasons, Donald Trump learned to use lying to gain the advantage for his purpose, which was to join forces with white supremacist groups, and bully his way into the presidency of the United States of America.
Discover how people adept at lying use several forms of deception-among them cajolery (flattery; coaxing), bogus information that sounds reasonable to the listeners, camouflage, empathy, and apathy in plain sight but not in plain view; to gain the advantage for their desired purpose whether that purpose is for your benefit or for your destruction. Although this book is written simplistically, nevertheless it teaches people of all ages of how cleverly deception can be used to gain the advantage for an evil purpose. To this end, “You may think you’re on the right road and still end up dead” (PROVERBS 14:12 CEV).
