The Heart that Speaks

Inspired by a passion and love for life and humanity I felt compelled to compile a book of my own poems that allowed me to express and share my knowledge and to help bring emotional understanding and clarity to complex emotions. The psychological wars we fight within ourselves are perplexing issues that surround our daily life.
The poetries in this book are based on fact, realism, philosophy, spiritualism, and the visionary and ordinary observations of daily experiences; mind you, I do love to write from pure imagination too, although this is something I rarely do as my writing mainly focuses on realism.

Not only does this book highlight the emotions and pains of life experience, it also reflects on the mistakes, our regrets, the struggles, hurt and the suffering of others to encourage self-understanding and self-love. My hope is that my poems will convey a sense of mindfulness and clarity, enabling us to move forward and utilise the lessons learned from each experience and situation; bringing about healing and closure to myself and others.
Most importantly this book is to remind people that they are not alone, that there is somebody out there feeling the same and that certain situations are like a passing storm that will appear clearer over time.
