About the Book
From crooked toes and a pointy nose to sparkly things and butterfly wings, there are pretty things everywhere, and they’re not always what you might expect. Your guide, Violet, will lead you on a journey filled with all kinds of pretty things.
There are shimmery shoes in many different colors; there are ribbons and dresses and jewelry too. Outside, a warm summer sky will light up your eyes, and blossoming flowers smell sweet to your nose. As the seasons change, there are baskets of fruits and colorful fall leaves, and at night stars twinkle and sparkle. Later, the moonlight reflects the wintry snow. And then there are the people, all over the world, who all look different and are beautiful in their own way—especially those who are thoughtful, friendly, and kind. Most of all, Violet lets you know that no one is just like you, with your own unique, special style. And your you is the prettiest of all!
This children’s story embraces all the wonderful things that make the world beautiful, especially everyone’s individual quirks that set them apart from others.
