About the Author

Ray D. Stevens earned a master’s degree in education administration from Northern Arizona University and a master’s degree in Russian-area studies from the University of Kansas. He and his wife, Mary, have been married forty years and have ten children between them. Ray has retired three times: once as an Army officer, once as an education administrator, and once as a fiduciary. He’s been active in the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Utah and the Diocese of Olympia and has served as a delegate to a diocesan convention three times. Ray is a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and is an avid writer. Ray’s Ramblings offers a collection of stories and poems from his memoir.
