About the Book

When it’s time for bed at night, know that Mom is there. When you wake up scared, Mom is there, too. Mom is always around when you need her. If you’re having a bad day, Mom can cheer you up. She teaches you important lessons, too, like the importance of being nice when making new friends.

As you grow, you might find someone to date. Mom reminds you to always lead with love. If people pick on you and make you feel small, be proud of who you are. Continue to put love out into the world, even when life seems unfair. And when you can’t see Mom, know that she is always in your heart.

I’m Still Here highlights the love parents have for their children and the influence love can have on the way children love others. The bond between mother and child is often indescribable, but this story attempts to explain unconditional love and unwavering support while presenting topics that will encourage conversations about acceptance and kindness.

About the Author

Olga Negrin is an art teacher from New Jersey who has worked with children for many years. As a new mom, Olga wanted to create a book that captured the love she has for her own kids.
