About the Book
Keisha is a beautiful black and white tuxedo cat. She lives happily with a little girl named Marie and her family. She loves to play but never outside because Keisha is very picky.
Her beloved family knows Keisha has a problem, so Marie’s grandmother decides to make something special for the family cat. Keisha’s problem is finally solved.
It is now time for Keisha to go outside with Marie. Everything is different and wonderful. She no longer worries about playing outside. Keisha and Marie cause quite a stir among the other cats of the neighborhood. For the first time, everyone in the neighborhood works together to solve a problem and celebrate the solution.
About the Author
Roberta Evadne Sawyers was born in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of seven, she and her family moved from Michigan to San Diego, California. Dogs and cats were always important members of the family. She earned her bachelor’s, teaching credential, and master’s from San Diego State University. For twenty-three years, she worked as an educator and vice principal. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
