It's past dusk,
And I'm sitting alone,
Feeling a cool breeze sweep my
Fatigued fate.
It’s strange, how I can still hear the
Beating of my fractured heart
In this eerie silence, where
The missing pieces I try to relate.
The visions of a reckless love
Dawn upon my soul.
Did I love too much or
Perhaps was it you who let go?
The burnt ashes of memories
Lay grieving at my feet
It's time to move on,
And undress my sorrow.
I look at the sky above,
And exhale my morbid past
For I will find true love once more,
My very own rainbow... that will forever last.
