ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Maria Kefalas and Pat Carr are the co-founders of the Calliope Joy Foundation, a 501(c)3 named for their youngest child. The Calliope Joy Foundation advocates for children with leukodystrophy and champions gene therapy research. Ms. Kefalas and Mr. Carr live in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Lela Meunier earned her BFA from the Tyler School of Art and is an educator and illustrator
based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
