Allie saw the same kids that had been standing outside of the supermarket, gathered in a circle, near the woods.
"Hi, I'm Allie the Safety Gator. What game are you all playing?"
One kid said, "We're not playing a game. We just saw a gun lying on the ground over there near the woods!" They all pointed in the direction where they saw the gun.

Allie the Safety Gator makes learning safety rules fun and easy to understand!
In Allie’s first adventure, she starts her day looking forward to having lots of fun at the park. She hops on her pink scooter and puts on her helmet and elbow pads and kneepads, and off she goes. When she arrives at the park, she sees so many kids playing and wants to join in. But before Allie gets a chance to play, her vibration sensors begin to tingle—there must be danger nearby! Join Allie as she dashes into action to make sure that the kids in the park are safe while teaching them all about gun safety.
In this children’s story, an alligator on a mission to keep kids safe helps children she meets in the park learn an important lesson about gun safety.
About the Author
Kimberly K. Gates is a mother of five and grandmother of two. She was inspired to write a children’s book in hopes of teaching young children basic gun safety rules. An avid reader and she enjoys spending quality time with her family. She and her husband, Kenneth, live with two of their daughters and their Shih Tzu, Rocco, in Atlanta, Georgia. This is the first of a planned series of books about safety for young readers.
