About the Book
Audie has to enjoy the beautiful day only through a window. Doctors say he must stay inside, along with everyone else, to stop the spread of a dangerous disease. Audie understands how important it is to protect his loved ones, but he misses hugs!
He cannot hug his grandparents or friends and not even his big brother who comes to visit and leaves gifts on the porch. To solve the problem of the missing hugs, Audie begins a craft experiment he calls “Send-a-Hug.”

About the Author
Corrie Harris and Debra Harris are a mother and daughter collaborative duo. Because of health concerns, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic made it necessary for Corrie to reinvent herself, giving her time to write. Corrie is a graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, where she studied marketing. Her mother Debra is an illustrator and retired educator.
