In this book, the author explains a global study that covers 65 countries. The book examined the relationship between tribalism and ethically suspect behaviors. These behaviors include unfairness, dishonesty, and equity in professional, interpersonal, and academic relationships. The book also explored the relationship between tribalism and corruption. Besides, the book examined whether tribalism is a unique cultural behavior different from Hofstede's and other cultural dimensions such as collectivism, power distance, uncertainty avoidance, and masculinity. The author used the institutional anomie theory to explain how tribalism relates to individuals' ethically suspect behaviors and corruption. The author used the hierarchical linear modeling technique, multiple regression analysis, the bivariate analysis, secondary data from the tribalism index, the World Value Survey, and the KOF Index of Globalization. The study showed that tribalism is a cultural dimension different from Hofstede's four dimensions (i.e., power distance, uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, and masculinity). The study also showed that tribalism is positively related to corruption.
Moreover, the book explains why globalization has a positive impact on a country's levels of corruption. In other words, more globalization means less corruption in a government. Generally speaking, the book shows that people in tribal countries behave unethically because of tribalism and other different reasons. Finally, the book reveals why tribalism causes corruption in some countries for several reasons, including gender inequality, ethnic fractionalization, and group grievance.

About the Author
Dr. Yousif Abdelrahim is a chemical technologist by training. He earned his master’s degree in management and strategy from the Western Governors University in 2014. He earned his Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2019, focusing on cross-cultural management, organizational behavior, and international business. He is a College Council member at the College of Business Administration at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahad University. He is the founder and chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Service Committee. Dr. Yousif is also an associate editor at the Journal of Economics and Business Studies (ISSN: 1532-4052). Dr. Yousif is a member of the Rosalind Member of London Journals Press, England, the honorary member of the American Honor Society for Academicians, member of OACET (Ontario Association for Technicians and Technologists, member of the program committee for the (38th) IBIMA conferences in Seville, Spain. He serves as an assistant professor of management at the College of Business Administration, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahad University.
