The Servitor Trilogy

Claude Fister owner and CEO of Mineral Technologies International, receives several calls from Demarcel Abrahim, the last living descendant of the Royal family of Turkey. Demarcel is after a collection of journals and gemstones once belonging to his ancestors. Claude purchased these items at auction now Demarcel wants them back believing they rightfully belong to him.  Previously on an excavation in Instanbul Turkey, Nico Vos and Arthur Byrd and the MTI crew are having dinner at their hotel when a when a well dressed gentlemman walks over and introduces himself as Demarcel Abrahim. Demarcel is tall, hovering over six feet, in his mid-fifties, handsome with a dark olive complexion and deep blue eyes, with shoulder length salt and pepper hair. "Excuse me for interrupting, I was wondering if I could have a moment of your time?"  Demarcel asked in a heavy Arabic accent. Nico Vos stands and puts his hand out. "I'm Nico Vos, please, have a seat." He offers him a chair. "What can we do for you, Mr. Abrahim?" Present Day.  Demarcel looks down at his cell phone as it buzzes, its a German area code. He answers in English."Is it done?" "No." The voice replied on the other end. "The medics got to him immediately and he was flown directly to the hospital, he survived." Demarcel raises his voice. "You're telling me he's still alive?" Lance hesitates "Yes." "Did you follow my instructionns?" Lance hesitates again. "Yes, just like you told me." Lance lied, he didn't use the entire amount of the white substance as Demarcel instructed. "What was it I gave him anyway?" Demarcel doesn't answer. "Well, whatever it was had him vomiting up blood immediately afterwards." Annoyed, Demarcel raises his voice."Stay with the Vos's, they're the only chance, to get back my merchandise." The line goes silent. Demarcel hangs up and dials Tahar one of his emplyees. "Mr. Abrahim." Tahar answers in Arabic. "Tahar I have an important job for you, you'll need to hire someone to assist you." "Yes Sir, whats the job?" Demarcel hangs up. He continues reading the journals left to him by his grandmother after she passed. Demarcel turns his attention to the use of amulets thats considered indispensable to evoke the dark spirits. Demarcel was looking for information on a specific stone with specific powers. Demarcel knows when using certain stones with conviction they contribute to powerful spirits to manifest certain occurances. Remembering what his grandfather told him years ago that one day he would one day continue his practices after he was gone. Demarcel didn't know what they were doing at the time, he was too young to understand. he heard story's growing up about his grandfather and the secret meetings about what they did was evil, but Demarcel didn't believe any of it. Angry, obsessing over Claude Fister and how he's determined to get his journals back from him containing the incantations along with the stones.  Demarcel rethinks his plans for Lance knowing it wasn't a good idea to hire him for the job, he was too close to Claude Fister and the Vos's. Claude Arrives at the Miami port of call, thats considered the Venice of the United of the United states. He decided to have Nico and Lida Vos meet him at the Yacht not taking the additional trip to Germany since Nico recovered so quickly. Upon Claudes arrival to the yacht he's greeted on deck by the captain and the crew, then escorted up to his cabin. As the attendant upacks Claudes bags, Claude heads out onto the veranda and stares out at the ocean in deep thought before he makes his first call to his head of security Sam Kesh at the MTI headquaters in New York. He dials, Sam picks up. "Claude how's it going?" "Good Thanks. Sam, I need for you to follow an employee of mine Lance Kaiden, he's in Germany at the moment, it seems he might have been responsible for poisoning Nico Vos, when they were on an excavation in Africa."   "What! When?" " "Doesn't matter, more importantly, it has something to do with a Demarcel Abrahim, who's been calling me regarding a parcel of gemstones and journals I purchased at auction a while back, once belonging to his ancestors who once ruled Turkey." "Huh! You don't say!"  "So he say's, he believes they rightfully belong to him. Sam, I want a full background done on him with eyes and ears in and around his compound. In Istanbul, I want to know everything he does and everyone who he comes into contact with and do the same with Lance Kaiden also." "Alright! Claude we're on it!" "I'm on my way to the Caymans, I've invited Nico and his daughter Lida, they will be assisting me in getting the new company jumpstarted. I also decided to stay on the yacht for the duration instead of the hotel." "This is a change of plans since we last spoke." "Yes, it is." "I'll make the necessary security arrangements." "Keep me informed of Demarcel and Lances movements." "Will do." Sam hangs up and dials Perry Bence, a member of Sams security team. "Hey Sam, whats going on?" "Perry I need you and the guys in Istanbul." "Whats in Turkey?" "A Demarcel Abrahim, Claude wants eyes and ears on him twenty-four seven. He supposedly is working with an employee of Claudes a Lance Kaiden who poisoned Nico Vos." "Whoa!" "Is he alright? How is he?" "He pulled through, but Claude's furious. I'll have a flight waiting tonight for you and the guys." "Okay!"
