Lady Lulu and Mr. Popo are polar opposites; as opposite, as opposite, can be. They are sister and brother, not by birth, but by adoption. Their mommy chose them with tender loving care.
Lady Lulu has short dark fur that looks like black licorice. She is muscular in build and medium height. Her favorite thing to do is jump on you and lick your face with her big, wet tongue. It makes you feel like you have gone through a car wash with the windows down. Yuck!
While Apollo, Mr. Popo for short, has long white fur that is fluffy like a marshmallow. He is tall and slender, and like a Meerkat he timidly pokes his head out to greet you. When Lady Lulu and Mr. Popo curl up together on a tan rug, they look like a s'mores campfire treat. Yummy!

About the Book
This book is a modern-day version of a game of hide-n-go seek between dogs and kite. Lady Lulu and Mr. Popo are an adoptive sister and brother, who are opposites, enjoying the day flying their beautiful butterfly kite. When suddenly the wind takes it away. Lady Lulu and Mr. Popo have no choice, they are determined to chase down their butterfly kite. Along the way, they run into a menagerie of new found friends willing to help them find it. With the exception of one new friend who needs to learn that sharing is important and fun. It’s a lesson we could all use more often in our own everyday lives.
About the Author
The author was born and raised in a small town in Northern California. Growing up, she was always surrounded by her extended family, including her menagerie of animals. Which is why they are always the star in her children’s stories. Her interests range from Tae Kwon Do to bowling, and of course her passion for writing. She is currently attending college to earn her master’s degree in creative writing. It is her belief that education is the great equalizer. She still resides in Northern California with her fiancé, teenage son and German Shepherd Max. Her daughter and significant other live a few hours away with her grand puppies, Luna & Apollo. Yes, they are real!
