About the Book
Controlling Misadventures is a collection of poetry which encompasses topics that most tend to overlook within themselves, as it is not a pretty subject to discuss. The battles that we all go through but keep locked away behind closed doors is now published for all to see.
About the Author
Having graduated high school in three years, Harleigh could not wait to put her voice out there. She is currently earning her Bachelor’s degree at Queens College. When she is not writing, Harleigh can be found expressing herself in other ways, that being selling her artwork on her shop “Oddities of the Arts” on Etsy. Taking her life experiences, Harleigh has reclaimed her power by utilizing her literary skills to project her innermost thoughts into a voice that could help others who may have felt that the ways of the world were much too bleak. She wished to utilize what she has learned from both life and from formal education to create a collection of poems that were raw and powerful.
