About the Book

One day, Sarah and Tyler are running late for school. It turns out to be a very unusual day because the two friends discover that not only is the world not real but that it was never real. On their way to school, a hole made of tiny cubes appears in the sky. Sarah and Tyler jump on the blocks and meet a strange person named Flabeo who seems to be from a different universe. But this is only the first of many bizarre beings they encounter through the day—and then they learn an astonishing truth about themselves as well. The only way they’ll survive is through friendship and teamwork. In this story for young readers, two friends learn about parallel universes and deal with things that can go wrong when they least expect it.

About the Author

Leo Zabala began his writing career in the fourth grade. Encouraged to apply his wild imagination and supported by wonderful teachers, family and friends, Leo agreed to let this book be published. He would also like to disclose that this was a school assignment, but he thinks it’s cool and hopes you like it too. He lives with his family in North Vancouver.
