About the Book

Good morning to this assignment of cause and effect, which always surround our lives. We encountered the phrase in a classroom lesson and developed our own little interpretations. Now, dear Lord, here is this light, delicate duty to introduce Direct Dial. In this time between midnight and darkness and the coming of morning light, this has melted into the reason for an offering in warming understanding. This cause is the desire to search for a prayer for a closer walk with You, Lord. It has been a desire that matches cause and effect for author M. J. Scott to reach readers in sharing. This discovery means a companionship to be held tightly in love and effect. If just one reader finds this to be an inspiration, then it has been successful. May it draw the spirit of joy and peace offered for all to absorb. Thank You, Lord. Direct Dial is a collection of poetic prayers and essays that guide the author in a closer walk with the Lord, seeking the inspiration of the spirit of joy and peace, and allow her to help others in their own walks.

About the Author

M. J. Scott holds a BS in education from Manchester College and an MA in mass communications from Norfolk State University. She completed all but her dissertation in the doctoral program at California Coast University. A teacher of Gifted and Talented students. She began her career at the Dr. Albert Schweitzer Elementary School and later offered a master teaching position at the Walt Disney Elementary School.
