About the Book

Rosie the corgi is excited when she gets to go to the beach for the first time. She’s heard about how beautiful the ocean is with its clear sandy beaches and abundance of wildlife. But when they arrive at the beach, Rosie is disappointed. Trash litters the sand and the only wildlife are seagulls pillaging the garbage. She finds a solution that will protect the ocean and the animals in and around it. A picture book for children, Rosie the Conservation Corgi shares a story communicating the importance of caring for the earth and the environment.

About the Author

Hailey Slaton studies conservation biology and ecology. Her love for her corgi and the planet inspired her to write her first children’s book.
