About the Author

Dr. Abbey Durkin is a single mother who has lived on a sailboat with her son and various pets for almost seven years. As a child growing up in multiple cultures around the world, she knows what culture shock feels like. She has learned that with family, friendship, love, and of course guinea pigs, anything is possible.
