About the Book

In a world of hardship, cruelty, crime, injustice, poverty, suffering, hopelessness, despair, death, and grief, people of faith who cultivate a lively relationship with God can enjoy empowerment toward true success. Cultivating a strong relationship with God is possible because God Himself makes such a life freely available. Anyone who trusts God’s beautiful gift of Jesus can receive all that He wants for us, including love, joy, peace, strength, hope, and the gracious realization of all of God’s eternal blessings. Roger H. Grummer, a pastor emeritus who has served congregations in North Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas, provides a scriptural foundation to walk closer with the Lord in this book. He answers questions such as: • How can you bolster your faith and better serve God? • How can you become more aware of the Bible’s lessons? • What does it mean to live in the presence of God? • How do you make a prayer of supplication? Steeped with wisdom from the Bible, this book reveals examples and principles that will help you improve your relationship with God, maintain earthly relationships, and share His word with others.
