That night there were many bright stars twinkling in the dark-blue sky. To the north, flashes of purple, pink and red lit up the blue.
“Such beauty is the Northern Lights, and I am alone with no one to share the beauty with,” thought Mr. Frank.
To the east were three stars all in a row. The middle one got brighter and brighter, then bigger and bigger. Then Mr. Frank heard a voice. The middle star was speaking to Mr. Frank!
“Hello, Mr. Frank. I am Clarence,” said the star. “I am a Guardian Angel. I watch over the family that made you and all they love.”
“It is almost Christmas, why are you so sad?” Clarence asked.
“Oh, Clarence, I am sad because I am alone.” Mr. Franks said. “I want to be in the sand, at the beach. I want to be where my family is.” He said.
“But Mr. Frank, you are made of snow from the mountains. You are not made of sand from the beach. You cannot be at the beach. Your snow will\nmelt. Then you will be carried away with the warm saltwater tides of the ocean.” Clarence said.
Small icicle tears fell from Mr. Frank’s snowy cheeks.

About the Book

About the Author
Missy was born and raised in Punxsutawney Pennsylvania. She has always been a fabricator of tales and a writer. Missy has enjoyed careers as an RPG programmer, and a nurse, and a custom home designer, now a real estate broker at Crazy Woman Realty.
Missy wrote many stories for her kids. In her life she has called many places home. A gypsy at heart, Missy and her husband Will currently divide their time between Cora, Wyoming and Solana, Florida.
Missy loves treasure hunting and adventures with her husband Will, photography, her clay and glass studio, tea parties, cooking with her Princesses and life‘s wild ride.
Missy hates brushing her hair, bad days, grumpy people and sitting still.
